    • True, you either love or hate Gary, however, his tips are priceless. All the other people that I mentioned here are amazing at providing tips on a daily basis. Thanks for the comment, Rebecca

    • I follow a lot of these people on LinkedIn myself! I try to keep current on job search strategies since I’m a resume writer my clients always ask about the best tips for applying to jobs.

One note though, Corina—Sarah’s last name is actually Johnston, not Johnson! I didn’t notice the “t” myself until I heard her introduce herself in her new LinkedIn learning class about finding the hidden job market. She has such great advice through, and definitely worth being on this list!

  1. Thank you for posting this. I have been struggling for the last year and a half, I have applied, had interviews and were passed over by others. This new information, I hope, will help me to find a career that is in line with what I want to do while sharing my knowledge and experiences with a company.

    • Hang in there! And really make sure to follow these guys, they are extremely helpful. Also, be active on LinkedIn and engage with others. You will be shocked by the results :). Good luck!

  2. I just came across this post on Pinterest today (9/22/2020) then went to LinkedIn to start following Kirsty Bonner and apparently she took her life about two weeks ago! So very, very sad. May she rest in peace.
